For GOD so LOVED THE WORLD, that he
gave his only begotten SON, that WHOSOEVER
BELIEVETH in him should NOT PERISH, but
have EVERLASTING LIFE.
The analysis of this great verse will reveal the greatest
salvation ever known to man.
1. God is the GREATEST PERSON EVER and He
loves the world.
God is greater than any person, so if He loves you then the
greatest Person loves you!
2. God shows the GREATEST LOVE EVER shown
to anyone.
The love of God is greater than the love of women, the
love of a father, the love of a mother, the love of a boyfriend,
the love of a girlfriend, the love of a nation. God showed the
greatest love ever shown by anyone.
John 3:16
3. God loves the GREATEST NUMBER OF PEOPLE
EVER.
Some people can only love a few people. Many women can
only love their husband and their two children. Some people
only love their tribesmen. Some people only love their country.
Many people despise people of another colour. But God loved
the whole wide world! God loved the greatest number of people
ever.
4. God gave the GREATEST GIFT EVER, which was
His Son.
All lovers give something. God’s love made Him give
something precious. Those who have children will understand
how precious and valuable a child is. God gave the greatest gift
ever, His Son.
5. God gives the GREATEST INVITATION EVER,
offering whosoever the gift of salvation.
The gospel of Jesus Christ offers the widest invitation ever.
God invites everyone to experience salvation whether living
in Alaska, USA, U.K. Afghanistan, Ghana, South Africa or
Germany.
6. God gives us the GREATEST and simplest METHOD
EVER of entering heaven – believing.
This ensures that whether you are rich or poor, whether you
are educated or uneducated, whether you are black or white,
simple faith will work for you and give you access to heaven.
This verse shows that everyone can be saved. Most privileges
are reserved for the rich and powerful; but salvation is not only
for the rich and the powerful.
The poor can believe and the rich can also believe the Word.
The uneducated can believe and the educated can believe the
Word too.
Faith is the simplest and greatest method for entering heaven.
7. God gives the GREATEST ESCAPE EVER.
God’s love is directed to us to make sure we do not perish in
hell. God’s love was not given to make us rich people, with cars
and houses. Not having a house is not the same as perishing. Not
having a car, not having a visa is not the same as perishing. To
perish is a very serious tragedy.
8. God gives us the GREATEST OPPORTUNITY
EVER to have everlasting life.
Receive Jesus Christ and seize the great opportunity of
salvation.
