And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the
Sabbath.
And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of
infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and
could in no wise lift up herself.
And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and
said unto her, Woman, THOU ART LOOSED FROM
THINE INFIRMITY.
And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was
made straight, and glorified God.

Luke 13:10-13

1. The teaching of the Word of God is a good
atmosphere for the hearts of people to be prepared
for miracles.
And HE WAS TEACHING in one of the synagogues on
the Sabbath.

Luke 13:10

2. An evil spirit of infirmity caused this woman to suffer
from a type of scoliosis. Evil spirits are very wicked
and they love to deform, disfigure and disgrace
people. Evil spirits can affect you physically. The
evil spirit bent the woman’s back. The woman could
not lift herself up.

And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of
infirmity eighteen years, and was BOWED TOGETHER,
and could in no wise lift up herself.
Luke 13:11

3. Jesus ministered to her by declaring that she was
healed. Declarations from the man of God are a
powerful way of being blessed. Tonight you are loosed
from every infirmity!

And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said
unto her, Woman, THOU ART LOOSED FROM THINE
INFIRMITY.

Luke 13:12

4. Jesus continued to minister to her by laying His hands
on her. Sometimes, different methods of healing are
combined to bring about a miracle. In this case, a
proclamation of faith was combined with the laying
on of hands.

And HE LAID HIS HANDS ON HER: and immediately
she was made straight, and glorified God.

Luke 13:13

5. No one could prevent the joy and the dancing that
came from this woman as she glorified God.
And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was
made straight, and GLORIFIED GOD.

Luke 13:13

6. The miracle healing of the woman who was bent over
demonstrates the love of God, the compassion of Jesus
Christ, the greatness of Jesus Christ and the power of
the Holy Spirit.

… For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he
might destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 3:8

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

7. “Woman, thou art loosed” were the words of Jesus
to reassure and to help the woman to receive her
salvation and healing.

a. You need to be loosed from the sins that are threatening to
take you to hell.

b. Through the blood of Jesus your sins will be washed away
and you will receive salvation.

8. Allow Jesus to loose you from your sins through the
Blood of Jesus Christ. If you are not loosed from your
sins, you will go to hell. Through the blood of Jesus
you can receive salvation.
