From a single tent in Accra
to forty nations.
In 2004, with an unbridled passion to preach, Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills held his first campaign under a tent in Accra, Ghana — resolved that even if only one soul attended, he would preach with all his heart, for a soul is precious to God.
From a tent seating six hundred, the meetings spilled into fields, stadiums and parks. The team has since cleared bush, crossed every manner of border and even used abandoned airstrips to make room for the multitudes that gather.
Today the Healing Jesus Campaign is one of the largest efforts of mass evangelism on the continent — a quest, in obedience to the Great Commission, to win one hundred million souls for the Kingdom of God.
"A soul is a soul, and it is precious to God."— Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills
