A quiet time will show you that there are two kinds of wisdom: human cleverness and the wisdom of God. A quiet time will also show you that human cleverness is a poor substitute for the wisdom of God. A quiet time makes you move progressively away from human cleverness and towards the wisdom of God.
A quiet time introduces you to real wisdom because you begin to fear, respect and obey God (Psalm 111:10).
The quiet time is the key to God’s wisdom and therefore to your promotion. By having a quiet time you exalt wisdom in your life and therefore bring yourself to honour: Proverbs 4:7, 8.
A quiet time is your key to wisdom and therefore your key to victory: Ecclesiastes 9:18.
A quiet time is your key to becoming wealthy because you have access to the wisdom of God.
Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures. Proverbs 8:18, 21
