“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28

Unexplained depression is most certainly the work of evil spirits. It is no surprise that anti- depressants are some of the most.

The greatest problem of mankind today is the invasion of swarms of evil spirits to the minds and the hearts of men. It is no wonder that unexplained sadness and sleeplessness, afflict millions.

Contrary to what many think, sadness or depression is not just a bad mood. The Bible calls it the spirit of heaviness: Isaiah 61:3.

What makes people so sad that they give up on life and become suicidal? It can only be demons. I remember, a medical doctor who went to England to further his education. For no known reason, he was unable to get into the programme that he wanted to pursue. This gen- tleman sunk into depression. His friends with whom he lived in London, called his parents to inform them their son was on a plane heading back home and that in their opinion, he was suffering from depression.

On his arrival in Ghana, this man was persuaded by many different people, including his pastor, not to kill himself. However, one fine afternoon, he checked himself into a hotel, wrote an apology note to the hotel manager, a letter to his par- ents saying how much he hated himself, and committed suicide.

Why would a medical doctor with such a bright future ahead of him decide to take his own life? Evidently, he was overcome by demons of depression.
