Physical contact or the laying on of hands is a basic and foundational principle in the kingdom of God. Through physical contact, miracle power is transmitted from one person to another. When you touch someone with faith, power is transmitted. If you have faith, you can transfer the power of God by touching a person.
You must develop your faith in this great principle: the principle of laying on of hands and making physical contact. Do not be fixated with the traditional way of laying on of hands where hands are laid on your head. This is just one version of that principle of contact, leading you to the transmission of power.
When a dead man fell into the grave of Elisha and made contact with the bones of Elisha, he was revived. The lingering anointing that was in the bones of Elisha got into contact with the dead man and he came back to life! (2 Kings 13:20-21).
It is important that you stir up the power of God by believing in physical contact. Kenneth Hagin never laid hands on my head but he did give me a warm handshake. I really cherish the handshake because it was the only physical contact I had with him. I believe the power of God was transmitted through that handshake.
On another occasion, a man of God mystically grasped my hand for about five minutes. I could not believe what was happening. The power of God was transmitted into my hands and I became anointed to build a mega church. Even though this same man of God laid hands on my head later, I perceived that it was the handshake that was a source of transmission of God’s power into my life rather than the laying on of hands on my forehead.
