But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

The gift of God is stirred up when you are walking in obedience. Whatever He says to you, do it! When the Lord sent me to have crusades, I stirred up the power of God by obeying Him. The Lord said I should pray for the sick and each time I do, I am obeying what He told me to do and the power of God is stirred up into action. Miracle power and supernatural interventions are stirred up by acts of obedience.
In order to release such power that could turn water into wine, the servants had to obey Jesus’ simple instructions. Are you averse to simple instructions? I often notice how people despise little instructions they are given. Their faces give them away. I can tell they are not impressed.
Are you too proud to listen to instructions about minor things? “Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it” (John 2:7-8).
When you obey God’s instructions to the letter, you will stir up the power of God. You will see the power of God in every aspect of your life. Obey God in the big things as well as in the little things. It is the little things that require more faith and more obedience and it is often those little things that release a lot of power.
It takes the power of God to experience financial provision as well as provision of all that you need. Have you wondered why you lack so many things? Have you wondered why you never have enough money? The power of supernatural provision will come into your life when you are obedient!
