Ephesians 4:1-3
Building 1000 micro churches is building a thousand assemblies of God’s people. Indeed, our strength is very different when we are together. There is nothing we cannot do if we stay together.
God is the Creator of unity and united existence. God knows the power that comes when we assemble and when we stay together. Indeed, satan saw the effect when God took away the unity from the men of Babel. The confusion that ensued when men spoke different languages and did not understand themselves imparted a profound weakness in men.
Today, men flounder in desperation and weakness because of disunity and separation. Some men live in affluence whilst most live in abject poverty and difficulty. The problems of many people could be solved just by communicating with someone else. But it is indeed difficult for men to communicate and to understand each other. This difficulty in assembling and doing anything together results in an ultimate deficiency on all mankind.
Through Christ, God is uniting us. He is assembling us together and blessing us with the blessings of the assembly. There are many blessings that come upon us through the assembling of ourselves together. It’s time to see that one of satan’s ultimate aims is to prevent the saints from assembling.
The more we assemble the better for us. The longer we assemble the better. Have you noticed that there is a lot of criticism when we stay in church for a long time? But there is no criticism for how many hours people stay at parties and watch movies and series of movies? What good do people get out of such things? And so the world, which is led by the “god of this world”, discourages the assembly of the saints but encourages every other frivolous, vexatious and immoral activity.
