READ: Psalm 87
And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.
Psalm 87:5
The eighty-seventh psalm speaks of the spiritual blessings that follow young people who were born in the house. Being born in the house is an important qualification for the service of God. Wherever you were born affects you. This is why many countries give you a passport if you are born in their country. When you are born in a country, it is assumed that you will grow up there.
If you were born in the church and grew up in the church, expect great things from God. Being born in a particular church and growing up in that church to become a leader in the same church is a prophetic blessing God is giving you. It is far easier to be established in the things of God when you are born in the house. Prophetically you are destined to be established as a successful minister in the house of God.
Years ago, I would go to the horse races on Saturdays. In those days, the horses stood behind the net and when it was time for the race, the net would be raised suddenly and the horses would take off at top speed. Obviously, those horses that were not lined up properly and not facing the front would not have a good start. The way a horse started a race always determined which won the race. It was only very special horses that could overcome a bad start, catch up and win the race.
The race for your ministry is just like that! When you are born in the house you have a good start for your life and ministry. People born in the house are going to rise up and do well. You will be remembered because you were born in the house.
