And Joshua smote them from Kadeshbarnea even unto Gaza, and all the country of Goshen, even unto GIBEON.
Joshua 10:41
Just like Joshua, you can expect many battles as you press on to enlargement.
1. Battles at home: Expect to have a battle with your parents, your family and your home (Matthew 10:34-36). There may be serious conflicts at home because of your calling. You may have conflict at home because of your children.
2. Battles in your bedroom: You may have battles in your marital bedroom. An anaconda or a python spirit will embrace you for life. This type of spirit slowly squeezes you for the rest of your life.
3. Financial battles: As you progress in the spirit of enlargement, expect to have financial battles. It costs a lot of money to accomplish anything in the ministry. There will always be a fight about money.
4. Battles over land: The devil will fight you about every piece of land. You must wage war and possess the lands that God has given you. Without land you cannot build the church and you cannot fulfil your calling.
5. Battles with disloyal people: There will be traitors! There will be sad days! There will be people you care for who will repay your love with ungratefulness and wickedness.
6. Battles with wicked and unreasonable people: There will be people who are stubborn, who never yield to reason, never agree and who never bow to your wishes. They become obstacles to your calling.
7. Battles with liars and deceivers: There will be liars! There will be deceivers. David, the psalmist, encountered these wicked and unreasonable liars (Psalm 109:1-5).
God’s power is with you for a series of battles and a series of victories. You must be resolute. Do not tire easily. After fighting on the left-hand side, just turn to the right and continue the fight there.
