READ: Exodus 34:1-14
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1 John 1:5
God takes you deeper by showing you about truth.
And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, THE LORD, THE LORD GOD, MERCIFUL AND GRACIOUS, LONGSUFFERING, AND ABUNDANT IN GOODNESS AND TRUTH, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
Exodus 34:5-8
When God wanted to take Moses closer, He showed him the truth. We must learn from Moses’ experience with God. God drew Moses closer and showed him His glory. Moses saw the glory of God when he saw how God was full of truth.
Remember that Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” Satan represents lies and deception. The more the deception, the more there are demons. Satan is a liar and a father of it.
I once met a brother who deceived his entire family and all his friends. His deceptions revealed how much demon activity was at work in his life. One person remarked about how easily this fellow told lies. Remember that liars will be cast into the lake of fire.
The deeper you are into truth, the deeper you are into God. God is truth and light. There is no darkness in him at all. Any form of deception or self-deception will keep you from God. God is light so the deeper you are into light, the deeper you are into God.
