READ: 2 Thessalonians 2:1-17
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2 Thessalonians 2:10-11
The scripture above tells us that the deceivableness of the enemy works because they received not the love of the truth.
It is important to come to the place where you love the truth. People who love the truth are protected from deceptions. The only way to be protected from delusions is to be devoted to finding out the truth and to be devoted to accepting the truth, no matter what it is.
The worst thing that the devil can do to you is to deceive you. Satan is in this world to deceive and fool everyone until they are destroyed. When the world discovers that it has been fooled by the devil into thinking that there is no God, they will be in great shock. When the world discovers that it has been fooled into ignoring God and not worshipping Him, they will kick themselves in disbelief. Deception is satan’s most wicked ploy. Satan is out to fool you and to make a fool of you.
Decide that you will accept the truth no matter how difficult it is. Decide that you will accept the truth even if it goes against you. Decide that you will accept the truth even if it is not in your favour. Your passionate love for the truth will protect you from satan’s deceptions.
