READ: Isaiah 61:10-11

And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
Matthew 22:12

Jesus showed us how a guest was thrown out because he was not properly dressed. Jesus prophesied that people would be thrown out of the kingdom because they were not properly dressed.

When you go to many golf courses you will find rules and regulations on how to dress on the golf course. Golf courses do not accept people coming around and dressing just anyhow. There are many hotels that also do not allow people to dress anyhow in their lobbies and restaurants. Your poor dressing will degrade and demean the image of the hotel or the golf course.

Similarly, your poor dressing will demean and degrade the kingdom of God. Your dressing speaks of your righteousness in God.
I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness…
Isaiah 61:10

Your dressing also speaks of humility. As a servant of God, you are expected to be clothed with humility.
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
1 Peter 5:5

Jesus was therefore prophesying about righteousness and humility. Jesus was predicting that there would be regret in heaven because we did not walk in righteousness and humility.

Righteousness will involve serious adjustments and adaptations to your life. You will have to dissociate from wicked practices and evil things. If you are not prepared to do this, you will not qualify for the kingdom. Unfortunately, Jesus predicted that many would not be prepared to pay the price for the clothes of righteousness.
