DLC Madagascar Report: February 2011

The Dag Heward-Mills' Literature Crusade (DLC) started in Madagascar with the sending of 2 people to Antananarivo on the 24thof February 2011, by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills. The Ministry was warmly received by Ps Patrick Andrianarivo of Eglise Evangelique Shine, who has been an ardent follower of Bishop Dag's ministry since 2010 through the introduction of the books to him by a Missionary who was there. Though he had never met Bishop Dag, he had read many of his books, soaked in his messages and had always prayed that there would one day be a connection between them and he had this opportunity when Bishop Heward-Mills accepted his invitation to be his guest minister for their 10th Anniversary Celebration.

As part of preparatory work towards the program the team embarked on a program to meet with senior ministers in Antananarivo to introduce and promote the person and ministry of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, primarily through his books. The schedule for the two week period prior to Bishop Dag's arrival, afforded the team the opportunity to meet and introduce the books to 30 senior ministers and a total of some 2,500 believers.

The schedule for the DLC after the visit by Bishop Dag was planned to happen over a period of about 2 weeks, with planned outreaches to 7 cities outside of the capital Antananarivo, spanning the whole length and breadth of Madagascar namely; Antsirabe, Antsirahanana, Taomasina, Mahajanga, Toleara, Taolagnaro and Fianarantsoa.

The final Books Conference, with 146 Ministers took place in Fianarantsoa a picturesque city in the heart of Madagascar which happens to be the third largest city in Madagascar. On the way to this particular conference the team narrowly missed and armed robbery attack and on their return narrowly missed their car rolling over a cliff when an oncoming vehicle veered into their path.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all.

Madagascar will never be the same!!
