About Dag Heward-Mills
Medical Doctor
Dag Heward-Mills qualified as a medical doctor in 1988. Soon after completing his internship as a doctor, he felt led to lay down his medical tools and become a full-time pastor. After a number of years operating solely in his calling in ministry, Dr. Heward-Mills came across several ‘cases’ that needed medical attention. As a compassionate and dedicated pastor and servant of the most High God, he felt compelled to pick up his stethoscope to render his services as a medical professional on a very low key but critical basis.Since then, the Lighthouse Medical Mission Hospital has been established and functioning since 2008. On a few occasions he has used his clinic in the hospital. With the helpless medical situations that are encountered during the Healing Jesus Crusades that is often held in very poor and forgotten communities, Bishop Dag once again felt led to hold medical clinics as part of the gospel crusades. A medical team of doctors, nurses and pharmacists regularly attend the Healing Jesus Crusades to offer basic medical care to those that need it. On occasion, Bishop Dag himself has had to roll up his sleeves to care for the sick.
