Tarkwa Crusade

The Healing Jesus Crusade trucks made a stop at Tarkwa from the 4th to the 6th of May 2005, this time around at the Cyanide Park. Tarkwa is a city in south-western Ghana, West Africa. It is situated about 120 miles (190km) west of the capital, Accra. Located in a predominantly agricultural and mining region, it has a population of about 40,000 people.

Approximately 13,110 people attended the three nights crusade and 7,200 received salvation for the first time. In the package was a 2-day Pastors’ Seminar at the Gadiel Acquah Methodist Memorial Church. The Crusade stirred up a revival in the town. The giant tent was so packed with people that it was virtually impossible to walk through the crowd and about 4,000 people had to stand outside the tent because the available chairs were not sufficient.

This is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes.
