Heavenly Treasures In The Diamond City!
Warm Reception
The whole city had been waiting in anticipation for several weeks. The deep hunger for God was abundantly evident during the campaigns as all traffic headed for the Old Airfield where the Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills preached for four nights.
The Diamond City
Kenema is located about 200km east of the capital Freetown, and is also home the second largest Sierra Leonean-Lebanese population in the country.
The city is noted for its diamond trading, because it is surrounded by some of Sierra Leone’s richest diamond mines. Diamond shops can literally be spotted every few meters on every street in town! We believe God sent the Healing Jesus Campaign to find the most precious diamonds of all –Precious Souls!
On The Old Plane Field
Each night, Evangelist Dag ardently preached the unmistakable word of God. About 100,000 silently listened as his voice echoed through the packed crowd on the old airfield. To the glory of God, thousands run to the front to give their lives to Christ during the alter call. It was a remarkable sight to see every hand raised as the whole city prayed along with Dag Heward-Mills as he knelt on the stage.
Many Miracles
-The first testimony of the night and the first ever of it's kind to be recorded in the history of the Healing Jesus Campaigns! A man suffering from severe priapism was miraculously healed by the power of the blood of Jesus! He testified that he felt a power come over his body and suddenly; he felt his perpetual erection suddenly disappear!
-A 13-year-old girl who had been limping seriously all her life was healed. God miraculously touched her legs on the second day of the campaign and she came on stage to testify!
-A woman suddenly came out of her wheelchair during the campaign. She walked onto the stage to testify of what the Lord had done. Hallelujah!
Pastors Conference
Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills spent three days teaching close to 2,000 local pastors and church leaders at the Pastors Conference. In his usual simple and down-to-earth style, he shared his books and rich experience in ministry and church growth. Each participant received a set of free books each day.
