Merry Christmas to you!

Wow, the year has gone by so fast. 2011, has been quite a year with many changes and developments in the ministry.

This year, in the Healing Jesus Crusades, we have crossed into new countries in French-speaking West Africa and Islam-dominated towns to have campaigns. We were blessed to have very successful campaigns in Niamey-Niger, Ouagadougou-Burkina Faso, Ede-Nigeria, University of Ghana- Legon and finally in Navrongo-Ghana.

God gave us many victories during these crusades. We witnessed the hand of God make a way for us through many difficult situations. He also blessed us also with great miracles and testimonies of healing. The blind saw, the deaf heard, the dumb spoke and the lame walked! The greatest of all these miracles however, was the salvation of souls.

What a joy it is to see many thousands who would have never heard the gospel come to saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The more we go out further away from home to preach the gospel, the more I feel the urge to press on further to do more. My heart broke when during one of the days of our campaign in Niger, one of the pastors commented that,

“When the gospel was brought to the south, the southerners failed to carry it further north. We have been abandoned in the North and left without the gospel of Christ Jesus”.

And it is true. We have stayed in the comfort of the South and watched as the entire North of Africa has been taken over by other religions. There are many others out there waiting to hear the gospel as we sit in the security of our homes and churches, unwilling to make great sacrifices for the expansion of the gospel.

As the 2011 gradually draws to a close, it is important to be mindful of the fact that OTHERS exist. It is time for us to look at maps and find out where the sinners are and go to them.  It is time for the forgotten ones to hear.  It is time for the poor ones to hear.  It is time for the neglected ones to receive some light.  It is time for people to graduate from the university and say; “I want to give the rest of my days to the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.  I want to win the lost at any cost!”

Till I write to you again, remember always that God is still searching for people who will love him with a “first love”. God is looking for people who will give up everything for Him.

Could you be the one?

Merry Christmas to you and have a grrr…eat time!
