It has been 5 powerful nights of preaching salvation, taking testimonies of fantastic healing and miracles here in Ede, Osun State, Nigeria! Day after day and night after night we have witnessed practically the saving and healing power in the name of Jesus.
I arrived into Ede in the afternoon of Tuesday the 5th of July 2011 and was escorted to the Sekona Grammar School park where a grand welcome reception was officially held to welcome the Healing Jesus Crusade to Ede. On the same day also, I paid a courtesy call to the King of Ede. On our way there, different sections of the streets in Ede town were lined up with people waving and cheering the convoy as we made our way to the king’s palace. I also paid a courtesy call to the governor of Osun State at his office in nearby Osogbo the next day before the night crusade.
Everywhere we have been in Nigeria, we have have been welcomed so warmly and I want to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to all pastors, church leaders, the governor, the king and all other leaders of Ede land for their warm reception and kind words. What a great privilege and blessing it is to go into a country where you are not known and be received and greatly honored.
Night after night, I shared with the crusade attendees on the message of ”John 3:16″- A pure gospel salvation message. For God so loved the world (including the people of Ede) that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever (including you) believes in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life. What better message could I offer a town with over 85% muslim population?
God blessed this crusade with many many souls, fantastic miracles and testimonies of healing. In this crusade, we have witnessed the blind seeing, the lame walking, the deaf hearing, the dumb speaking, complex diseases being healed and even the dead being raised! For the second time in my life and ministry as an Evangelist, I have witnessed a dead person come back to life. Do click on the link below to read the testimony in full:

Perhaps the best part of the this evangelistic effort to Ede for me are the books we have been able to make available to the pastors and leaders of the Ede and it’s neighbouring towns. On the last day of the morning Pastors conference, all the books sold out after a ‘Buy One @N500, Get Three Books For Free’ promotion. Also, every pastor that helped in the planning for the crusade was given a set of my four textbooks as a gift.
I believe strongly that the books will have a lasting effect on the lives and ministries of the pastors and leaders of Ede even after the crusade is long gone.
Ede has been been yet another good experience for the Healing Jesus Crusade team. We thank God for His grace and for preserving the lives of entire team.
