MY LONG-AWAITED PROMOTION HAS COME IV

Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end (Deuteronomy 8:16).

God is testing you so that he can promote you. Sometimes you remain in a place longer than expected because you did not pass the tests that came before the promotion. It is important that you take note of the tests and see things as God wants you to see them.

And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no (Deuteronomy 8:2).

One of the things that tests do is that they humble you. You know within yourself that you cannot easily pass that same test if given to you within a short span. There is nobody reading this who is not going to pass the tests given to them and is not going to be greatly promoted. When God blesses and promotes you, you start to follow what is written in Deuteronomy 8:18 “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” As time goes by, you will realize that God has blessed you and given you the power to get wealth. Now wealth is relative. It is sometimes based on what you need. People can earn ten to twenty times more than you do but you with your smaller amount of money can do more than they can. Gradually, you will notice a change in your finances. God expects you to notice these changes financially and give Him thanks. When you do that, you will start to notice that you are climbing higher and higher. When you do not notice such things, you are not thankful. Thankfulness is different from saying thank you. You can say thank you but you are not thankful. Being thankful is always being grateful and appreciative. Today, I want you to make a conscious effort to become a thankful person. Recognize the tests that will come your way on the path to your long-awaited promotion.

“To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion” (Proverbs 1:2-4).

Discretion is one of the tests you will go through on the path to your long-awaited promotion. Discretion is the ability to take decisions on your own. Sometimes, you are blessed to have good advice but many times, there is nobody to tell you what to do. That is when you are told to use your own discretion. Your discretion is going to come into play all the time in your life and each time you make a decision, it will either cause you rise up or fall down. Receive discretion to pass your tests on the path to your long-awaited promotion.

MY LONG-AWAITED PROMOTION HAS COME III

“To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion” (Proverbs 1:2-4).

When it comes to your long-awaited promotion, there are seven things you will be tested on; your wisdom, knowledge, understanding, equity, judgement, your justice and discretion. Discretion speaks of the decisions you take on your own when  no one is around. This one thing is perhaps the most important ability you need to have. Many times, missionaries do not do well because on their own, they cannot take good decisions. However, when they are around, they are given directions and instructions on what to do next.

Joseph is a good example of a person who was faced with many of the issues of life that we all face (Genesis 37). The first test Joseph faced was on how to handle the vision.

“And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words. And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth” (Genesis 37:6-10)?

You can see that Joseph had respect for his dreams. He must have had a sense of respect for his dreams and deemed them important enough to tell his brethren and father. We all tend to feel like if God appeared to us the way he appeared to the other person, then we will truly serve the Lord properly. Despite the questions he faced when he shared it with his brothers and father. He took his dream seriously!

“And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:” (Matthew 22:1-5).

When you make light of a dream, a vision or a call, do not expect to become anything. However, when you pass the test of taking the smallest conviction and vision from God in your heart, then you can expect to go to the next level. At the beginning of life, this is where many people part company, one makes light of the vision they receive and another takes it seriously. Nobody can be serious about your calling. You must be serious about your own calling. Nobody can superimpose their seriousness on your attitude of lightness. Do not think that it is people who not have anything to do who take their calling seriously! Do not also think that things are clearer and easier for somebody but not for you. Things are not any easier or clearer for the next person. The difference between you and the next person will be how you handle the vision. Receive grace to take your vision seriously! From today, a door is opening for you taking you higher and higher.

MY LONG-AWAITED PROMOTION HAS COME II

“All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers. And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live. Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years. Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee. Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him. For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills; A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey; A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass. When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he hath given thee. Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied; Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the Lord thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint; Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;” (Deuteronomy 8:1-16).

You are living! You are possessing the land! You are entering the land God has prepared for you in Jesus name. If you are honest with yourself, you will realize that troubles have a way of humbling you. It makes you cooler and calmer. That is why older people at times appear not to shout as much or be as excited. It is not that they are angry but because they have experienced trials. Now when you get married, you sign up for this journey of humility full of trials. “And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no” (Deuteronomy 8:2). That is why even certain jobs ask for your marital status because it is a sign that you have gone through trials that will bring about humility. At times, people that are not married are prouder than those who are. Even God who searches the heart allows you to go through things to prove you and find out what is in your heart. Everyone says nice things but when you are put through trials, with time, what is in your heart will come out.

One of the tests you will go through will be the test of your wisdom and discretion. Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom” (James 3:13). Your wisdom is shown by your good behavior and works, with meekness. When you are wise, you become humble. It is wise to be humble! Wise husbands and wives are humble. Wisdom is your ability to apply knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense and insight. In the tests of your wisdom, the type of wisdom you have will be revealed (James 3:15). Your long-awaited promotion will come to pass when you are able to successfully respond to the tests that come your way. Receive wisdom to pass the tests of time. Receive the ability to apply the knowledge you have gained in your tests and you will experience glimpses of your long-awaited promotion.

HOW TO DEVELOP THE SEED OF GREATNESS II

It is exciting to be back home in Ghana sharing with you all once again. I bring you all greetings from the campaign field in Mozambique. The Lord was with us and it was a blessing. We are glad that the Lord brought us back safely. Today, I am going to share with you on how to develop the seed of greatness in you. It is Biblical to be called great.

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David” (Luke 1:32).

For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren” (Hebrews 2:11).

Believe the force of the prophetic words that is coming over your life. God said you are going to be great because of the prophecy spoken over your life. The road to developing greatness involves humility. Humility involves an ability to receive correction. As a child, it is normal to have received the correction of your parents on an occasion or two. When you meet children whose parents have never been angry with them, they are deemed “spoiled brats”. The same principle applies in the church. Correction is necessary for us to grow into the great people God wants us to be.

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth” (Colossians 3:1-2).

To seek is to spend energy, time and effort. Look for things that are heavenly and above. This is the road to greatness. If you have truly come to know Jesus, expend your energy seeking for the things of God. The reason why people do not preach much about such things is because they say that when you are heavenly minded, you are not useful on earth. The master key to prosperity and greatness is not to seek what others are seeking but what the Bible says. Many people today are preaching physical, human, financial gospels on how to get things on the earth. Most of the time, you find in churches, people are preaching philosophies of men laced with scriptures that give mental pleasures. Colossians 3:1-2 might led one to think that we as Christians are not useful on this earth. However, Jesus Christ also spoke about this key to greatness in Matthew 6:33“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Receive the wisdom of God on your road to greatness. From today, seek things that are above. Seek holiness, seek glory, seek the anointing, seek the presence of God!

WHY ARE CURSES POWERFUL

This week, I will like to share with you on the power of curses. Curses are powerful spoken words that can change the course of an individual’s life. Receive wisdom to overcome curses in your life.

Curses are powerful because Jesus taught us that we can have what we say. Jesus said, “You can have what you say” (Mark 11:23). This principle teaches that when a person speaks out words of faith; whether to a mountain, a hill, a valley or a river, there will be a response to the declarations. Even the inanimate, non-living object will respond to words spoken.

Throughout the Bible, men of authority have spoken curses and blessings over people, individuals and nations. The years have gone by and proven that their words were not idle words but powerful creative words that determined the outcome of lives. The words that Almighty God spoke over Adam and Eve have determined the course of the human race. The futility experienced by all of us is something we cannot shake off. Death looms ahead of every human being and stands as a thief everything we do here. Faith works by making declarations that come to pass. Faith is a real force that is activated every time you speak, even when you are joking. You must be careful of what you say.

Curses are powerful because they are a manifestation of faith.  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” (Hebrews 11:3). Faith is a very powerful force because it is the force that was deployed in the creation of the planets, the stars, the sun and the moon. Our sun is one of the many stars in the universe. We are taught that the world was created by faith. God spoke the world into existence when He said, “Let there be light.” Spoken words are the reason for Jupiter and its sixty-two moons, Saturn with its fifty-three named moons and Neptune and its fourteen moons.

The fantastic planet, Saturn, with its amazing rings of color is a favorite for those who study the planets and the stars. These wonders were all created by faith. We understand that the worlds were created by the word of God through faith. Faith is a great force that can create a life of blessings or a life of curses. When a man of faith speaks words, they can create a world of blessings or a world of curses. Watch out for authority figures that speak words of faith. Watch out for these people, for they speak words that can change your life forever.

HOW TO DEVELOP THE SEED OF GREATNESS

I want to begin a very important series today on “How To Develop The Seed of Greatness In You.” What is the seed of greatness?

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God” (Luke 8:11).

The seed of greatness is real! There is a seed of greatness in you. Greatness is a biblical concept. It was prophesied upon John the Baptist that he would be great. If Jesus said the least in the kingdom is greater than John the Baptist, then, there is greatness in you. This same greatness was prophesied over Abraham. If Abraham is great and you are one of his children, then you are going to be great as well! “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). Greatness is promised to us through the word of God and through the prophecies.

“And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also” (Genesis 1:16).

There are two main lights we use on the earth, moonlight and sunlight. God made two sizes; one great and one not so great. The greater one was to rule and dominate in the day and the smaller, lesser light in the night. God is in the business of making greater light and lesser light. I prophesy to you that you are one of the greater lights! You have received the prophecy of greatness for your life. I am prophesying to you, greatness, greatness, greatness, greatness, greatness, greatness, greatness. That is your destiny! You are going to be as great as God has determined.  How do we develop this seed?

Now the parable is this: The seed [the mystery] is the word of God” (Luke 8:11).  When I am preaching, I am throwing seeds in your life! The seed is a very powerful weapon. As I keep speaking, they are being thrown out there and they are fighting for us! It is fighting devils.

“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)” (2 Corinthians 10:4).

What do these weapons do? They cast down imaginations. When your thinking is a certain way, Satan is actually in it. The weapons that God has given us are for casting imaginations down, and things that are against the knowledge of God. The weapons are fighting the statements and things that are contrary to what God has said about your life. The seeds also bring to captivity certain thoughts. “….and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5). Just try marrying an individual who has certain thoughts. You will then realize how unsafe you truly are. The thoughts you are having reveal the presence of spirits. That is why listening to messages is one of the most important things in your life!! Receive the seed of greatness in you! Receive the seed of the word of God in your life!

Blessings!

EUNUCHS IN THE PALACE III

Last week, I shared with you all about being “Eunuchs in the Palace”. Today, I want to continue sharing with you on this very important topic of “Eunuchs In The Palace”.

Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Lord of hosts: Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the Lord. And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon. Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days” (Isaiah 39:5-9).

Isaiah was a true prophet of the Lord. He did not deliver only good news to the people of God, he also conveyed the hard messages. Notice the response of Hezekiah to the words of the prophet. He accepted the word of God as the final authority in his life. Learn to let the word of God have the final say in your life! The punishment for the people of Israel was to have sons that would become eunuchs, castrated and barren. God has no desire for us and our children to become eunuchs. However, there is one way to become eunuchs and that is by being fruitless as far as God’s kingdom is concerned. You must become a mighty child in the house of God.

“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:5-8).
You will not be barren and unfruitful when these traits are found in you. Thank God for knowing Jesus Christ. However, now that you know Jesus, it is expected of you not to become barren. Nobody reading this is going to be found barren and fruitless. We are all going to be found fruitful in the house of God. Anyone that plants a tree expects it to bring forth fruit. When it fails to do this, after years of caring for it, it is only natural to uproot it. This is the same thing that happens with us. After God blesses us, saves us, loves us, cares, natures, protects, shields and feeds us, he expects something from us. Unfortunately, some of us bring forth nothing and there, the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled in our lives. God has clear expectations of us. May we not fall short of God’s expectations for us.

EUNUCHS IN THE PALACE II

Today, I want to continue sharing on the series I began last week “Eunuchs In the Palace”. As the word of God comes to you today, I want you to believe that your life is moving higher from henceforth. The word of God is miraculous and through it, your life will be transformed. The Bible tell us, that He sent his word and healed them (Psalm 107:20). So even as you read these words, believe that you are in a healing service and your life is being corrected. Expect lifelong changes to take place in your life.

He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days” (Isaiah 39:5-8).

Many years ago, a eunuch had the job of guarding bed chambers in a king’s palace. A eunuch, because he was castrated and stripped of his manliness, would be powerless as far as women are concerned. He would have no desire for advancement and no desire for improvement. He would forever be alone. There would be no wife, children, expansion to his dynasty or increase to who he was.

Thus a eunuch is not a purposeful person. He is harmless, unproductive, powerless and with no desire to advance.  But you are advancing in Jesus name!

I do not want my children to be eunuchs in the palace. I do not want you, as you read this, to remain an unproductive Christian. To be unproductive is to have no souls won by you,; no churches started by you; to see no financial improvement in your life; to have no desire for advancement or improvement. I want you to have a desire to win souls! I want you to have a desire to build houses. You must have a vision for something better. In every sphere of your life, there must be advancement and especially a desire. “Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. (Psalm 112:1-3).

You will be a generation of blessed people. All my spiritual seed are mighty children. I do not struggle to have a car and therefore my seed will not struggle to have a car! I do not struggle to eat therefore my seed will also not struggle to eat! You will no longer be comparing prices of goods to find the cheapest one to buy. You will be able to afford anything! You are becoming a blessed generation as you move out of being a self-imposed eunuch! You are going to be blessed and your seed will also be blessed! I encourage you, as you read this, to go and listen to this message on my podcast. Your life is changing from today. The prophecy you believe is the one you will receive.

Blessings!

EUNUCHS IN THE PALACE

It is a great blessing and a privilege to be back home at the First Love Centre. I have spent the past few weeks around the world holding camps, conferences and more. This week, I would like to share a new series with you entitled, “Eunuchs In The Palace.

At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and was recovered. And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not. Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country unto me, even from Babylon. Then said he, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days” (Isaiah 39:1-8).

This one of the severe punishments given to the people of Israel. To be a eunuch is not a small thing and many people have been eunuchs. A eunuch was considered to be in a lower status in life. His life was completely changed by being a eunuch. Hezekiah was told that his sons were going to become eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon. Now, this is not a blessing! It is far from a good thing. Nobody must become a eunuch in the palace of God. A eunuch is an unproductive person. He does not bear fruits of what he is. He is permanently made barren and fruitless. That will never be your portion in Jesus name! I am sharing on this to show you what you will never become. You must not become eunuchs in God’s palace. You cannot and will not become a spiritual eunuch, an academic eunuch, a financial eunuch or any kind of eunuch in this life! When God told Hezekiah this, it is like God telling a pastor that his members will not rise and neither will they be great. God is telling us that we must not turn out to be eunuchs in the church that we are in! When you become a eunuch, you do not amount to much. You also do not become anything that God has intended for you to become. It breaks the heart of a father to see their children struggling. It breaks the heart of a true minister to see his members not doing well in all areas of their lives. This will never happen to you in the name of Jesus. “Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed (Psalm 112:1-2).  The seed of a man that fears God is blessed. You are declared mighty children! You will produce a generation of blessed people!

JESUS CHRIST & HIS GRANTING OF PRIVATE INTERVIEWS II

Last week, I had the privilege of beginning a new series about “Jesus Christ and His Granting of Private Interviews”. In this series, I began to share on the importance of drawing close and being known! Why would you want to have a private interview with Jesus Christ? Why would you want to have a private discussion, interaction and interview with your shepherd? There are many reasons to desire this kind of interaction with your shepherd as well as Jesus Christ. Today, I will continue this message.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:22-23). This verse is difficult to understand. How can someone say that they prophesied in a person’s name, cast out devils and do many wonderful works but then be told “…I never knew you”? This verse shows us that you can work and do things but not have a personal relationship! That is why people have all the problems they have when they get married because they think they know who they married but actually do not. You find couples finding out about each other and saying “I never knew you were moody”, “I never knew you were lazy”. This happened to me years ago, when the church was smaller. Two of our pastors came to see me and said they were pastors in the church. When they said, they were pastors, I asked them where and they mentioned their branch. As they spoke, I thought to myself “these individuals have been in the church and have been working in my name but I never knew them.” I was saying the same thing Jesus was saying in the scripture to these pastors, “I never knew you.” Practically, I saw somebody who was working in my name, doing things on my behalf but I never knew them. Today, I want you to decide that you do not want to be in the church without being known and knowing! I wonder how people can marry others solely based on recommendations without them trying to know one another. If someone says “this is a good sister”, you are supposed to get to know them! How can you marry a strange woman you know nothing about? This person is a stranger! “And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger” (Proverbs 5:20)?

God wants you to know people well. God himself is also saying that he also does not accept you if he does not know you personally and well. Do not sit there and say that in your culture, you do not talk in the presence of an adult. It is not helping you. You need to know how to speak to and relate with a great person. You cannot be far and say “that is my church! That’s my pastor in that picture”. God wants you to grow up and get close. That is why Jesus allowed people to come to him and talk to him. You must remember that getting close depends on you! Decide to let go of that attitude that only desires to stay far. This year, strive to get close to your shepherd. Most importantly, strive to get closer to God!

“The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it” (Luke 16:16).

Blessings!
