It has been quite a while since I preached on Sunday evening at The Qodesh. Last night was the first Sunday evening service I have ministered at the Qodesh for the year 2011.

Over past few years, the Sunday evening services, I minister at have evolved from Leaders Service, Shepherds Service, Over comers Service, Unquenchable Fire Service…and this time around, it was an Evangelistic Service.

I realized yesterday that I had really missed preaching at these services. Yesterday’s message was on “120 Reasons Why We Must Be Soul-Winners”. Don’t be alarmed, I shared only Reason No 1 why you must be a soul winner.

Soul winning is not the conversion of a poor person in to a rich person. It is not the conversion of an unblessed person into to blessed person. It is not the conversion of someone who is not married into someone who is married. That is not soul winning?

Soul winning is the conversion of a non-Christian to becoming a Christian. Simple. We, as Christians and pastors must be concerned with the souls of people and not on converting poor people into rich people.

“Receive Christ!” is what we should be screaming from our pulpits. Not cars, not jobs, not children, not houses. Heaven is real and Hell is real. Jesus did not come to die to increase our earthly material wealth; He died to save our souls from Hell.

Let us concern ourselves with the commandment to go out into the entire world to preach the gospel. It is the great commission, the great command, the great mandate, the great instruction and great order given to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
