“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;” (Titus 2:11-12).
“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21). Now the word “save” is the Greek word “sozo”. This beautiful word salvation which has appeared is something we have to look into because the prophets of old desired to look into it as well;“Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you” (1 Peter 1:10).
This salvation contains many wonderful things within it. So be sure to take all that has been contained within it for you. One day, there was a man who was going on a long journey via ship. As he was going on the ship, this man bought some biscuits to take along with him on the journey. During his time on the ship, he would see many people eating in the various restaurants of the ship while he would eat his biscuits. He did not have money to pay for the restaurant so he admired these people from afar. On the last day of the journey, after eating his biscuits, one of the waiters came out to him. As they were talking, he asked him why he never came out to the restaurants of the ship to eat. The man related to him that he could not afford to pay for the restaurants. In that moment, the waiter, shocked at this discovery, told the man that the food in the restaurants were part of the ticket! Everything was included in the cost of the ticket! You can imagine how disappointed and sad the traveler because he had missed out on the additional benefits of the tickets. He missed out because he did not know and neither did he ask. You will not miss the things that are part of your salvation in Jesus name. Whatever that is included in your salvation, I prophesy that you will be receiving it all.
“And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.” (Matthew 5:25-28,34).
That word “whole” in verse 28 is also from the word salvation which is translated as sozo! Salvation starts with saving from your sins. Being rescued from something bad is part of salvation for you. The word sozo or salvation means to rescue you from danger, to rescue you from destruction, to save a suffering one, to preserve one who is in danger. Today whatever is bad in your life, receive salvation! Whatever long standing problems you have in your life, today, salvation has appeared and has set you free from something that has been there for a long time. Today, I prophesy towards your direction and I say whatever has been long-standing, receive salvation. Whatever you are suffering from, receive deliverance from it in Jesus name. As you have come to Christ, your salvation is including all things that have come with the problems.
