HOW TO MAKE YOUR PROPHECIES COME TO PASS III

“Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee! Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth. “Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side” (Psalms 71:19-21)

God is saying here to you that despite all the troubles you have seen and despite how low you sense within yourself, He will lift you up. This is your prophecy for the week. Things are not always shining or always smooth. Sometimes, you wonder if you have been marked to experience an abundance of trouble. I prophecy to every dry bone and every sore in your life, according to the word of God written, that He shall increase your greatness and comfort you. I prophecy to you that whatever sore or whatever trouble you may be experiencing, God is comforting you on every side and surely increasing your greatness.

“And he said, A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.  And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing. And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him. And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found” (Luke 15:11-32).

This is a story of two brothers who all started at the same level. However, at the end of the day, one of the boys ended up poor and the other was rich. Everyone starts at the same spot in the race of life. Today marks the day that you choose to follow the master keys to prosperity. Let us look at some of the master keys that we can glean from the story of the prodigal son.

The first master key is, do not follow the ways of the youth. “Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord” (Psalms 25:7). Many of the problems we have as adults have their origins from our youth. There are a lot of things that hunt you and plague you for the rest of your life when you partake in them as a young person. From 2 Timothy 2:22, we know that it is possible to follow righteousness as a young person; “Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” When an older person is pure, it is not as impressive as a young person. You may choose to dabble in many foolish things as a younger person but you can easily not return from it. The Bible says to “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;” (Ecclesiastes 12:1). It is possible to remember God as a young person. Do not think you can easily return from the sins of your youth when you get older. Believe that you as a young person can have the wisdom of an older person.

The next master key to learn from the prodigal son is, do not ask to enjoy things that are for the future now. Forcing to have things that are meant for the future now can destroy you. “And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living” (Luke 15:12). Why do you, as a 16-year-old, want to enjoy the benefits of marriage now? You want somebody to hold you and squeeze you. You want to ejaculate so badly that you are now addicted to pornography and masturbation. You want to have the money for your future now and that is why you are forcing yourself to go for a loan. Your whole life is changing because you are forcing to have future things destined for you now!  Do not attempt to take what is meant for your future now. It will destroy you. Do not force yourself to be something you are not. When you are not at a certain point in life, stop pretending. Receive wisdom and the prophecies spoken about your greatness will come to pass.

Blessings!
