HOW TO MAKE YOUR PROPHECIES COME TO PASS

“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation” (2 Peter 1:19-20).

The Bible is full of so many prophecies that you may think it is a joke. The reality is that they are all true and we must take them all serious. As I speak on how to make these prophecies come to pass in your life, do not joke with them. Take it seriously and you will see the word of God being fulfilled practically in your life!

“And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:” (Colossians 3:10). Your natural self, unimproved physically, is not so nice. If you come as you are, it is not the best version of yourself that can be presented. That is why you must put on the new man because the old man is not nice.

“But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; (Colossians 3:8-12).

So how do you make these prophecies come to pass? You must first and foremost accept people as Christians and not by their tribe, nationality or color. “Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all” (Colossians 3:11). Your greatness is greatly reduced the more concerned you are with the tribes and nationalities of individuals. Your greatness comes from the number of people you can relate with diverse backgrounds. The more you differentiate people by their nationality, the less great you become.

To become a great person, you must be full of kindness and mercy. “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;” (Colossians 3:12). Your greatness is connected to the mercies you have. The greatness of your marriage is directly connected to the mercies and kindness you have. The people you are kind to, will be the greatest and most committed people you have in your life. Before you have authority, you are to be kind. God will not give you authority if you are not kind. Everyone will receive a little power at one point of their life so always remember this that your greatness is linked to your ability to show kindness and mercy.

“Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;” (Colossians 3:12). Humbleness of mind and meekness are a requirement to becoming great. Decide to be a humble person or nobody. Meekness is the manifestation of humility in you. The lack of meekness in you is the lack of seeing in you. When you cannot see, the Bible calls it stubbornness. Stubbornness and inflexibility are dangerous traits to have. There must be a place where when you are told you are wrong, that is the end of it. There must be a voice in your life that when you hear, brings about the conclusion of your argumentative nature. It is good to have beliefs but there is a point where the Lord says put it off. Today marks the end of stubbornness, delusions and inflexibility in your life!

Blessings!
