It is a great honor to be back home in Ghana. I bring you all greetings from Zimbabwe. The Healing Jesus Campaign team and I were in Zimbabwe for about 35 days. We went about preaching the gospel in the various cities Zimbabwe. I believe that God has changed the lives of the people of Zimbabwe. We are grateful for God’s blessing and bringing us back safely.
Today, I want to share with you on what the Bible calls greatness. You shall be great! Now the Bible says “And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved” (Hosea 12:13). God is bringing you out of difficulty and is taking you into something great!
“And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense. And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb” (Luke 1:10-15). You shall be great!! You will be great in the sight of God! This is a very important point because you can be great in the sight of somebody but not great in the sight of the Lord. I would rather be great in the sight of the Lord than someone who’s authority spreads only to a certain border. May you be great in the sight of God and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
“And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David (Luke 1:26-32). Now virginity was important in the calling of Mary. It was important because for a virgin to give birth, was in itself a miracle. Now some of you are about to lose your virginity but I want to tell you that your virginity may be very important in your destiny. You need to be careful not to loose it thinking that it does not matter. It may become important to you as it was to Mary. Sometimes, there are things that you do not realize are important in your destiny so you loose it. When Joseph was being chased by Potiphar’s wife, had he succumbed to the temptation, he would have ended up being a corrupt servant. However, his destiny was connected to being pure. Sometimes, it is as though all these sayings about holiness and purity are far-fetched but they may make a difference to your destiny. Receive the ability to value all things in your life.
