The world is divided into two groups, those who have also known as those who are prosperous and those who do not have. Why people have and why people prosper is one of the greatest mysteries in the world today! I am shocked to see that so much research has been dedicated to discover why people do well and why others do not. So many things have been found but the word of God also teaches us some of these realities. God desperately wants us all to join the group he that hath and that is why I am sharing with you.

Wisdom is needed more by young people and not older people. It is easier to change the direction of your life when you are younger than when you are older. When you are an adult, you have already done things a certain way and will find it very difficult to go back and change it all. Billy Graham says that one of the things that shocks him most about life is its brevity! So know that you do not have that much time. You do not have the time to experiment with life. Your life should not be used as an example of a bad experiment. So receive wisdom from these words.

“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 22:10). There are many keys to prosperity but the main key which most of us are following is the key of going to school and getting a job in our field afterwards. There are other avenues of becoming a he that hath but many people are not aware of these. The book of Proverbs tells us that another way to become a he that hath apart of what we know is the blessing of the Lord. Another way to become a he that hath is through the grace of God.

God’s grace brings things that you do not deserve or know why they have come your way. Many times, when the grace of God comes, because you have a fixated way of how things should be, you end up mistakenly rejecting the new way your prosperity has come. When Elisha was going to heal Naaman, he, Naaman, went with many gifts but Elisha never came out of his house. He told him to go and bathe himself 7 times in a particular body of water. Naaman was very irritated when he received this instruction. However, a little child informed Naaman that had he been advised to do something more complicated, he would have fulfilled it. Naaman listened to the advice of this child and he was healed.

Many people do not like simple instructions. Some people believe that when God is going to bless you, he does not do anything physical such as bathing or taking medicine. You are fixated in your mind that if God is healing you, it will not come through something simple such as the taking of medicine. So, when such an instruction comes, you automatically dismiss it as not being from God. However, you must ask yourself who made the human body and gave the wisdom of the discovery of medicine to us?  The knowledge and secret of medicine comes from God. Many of us are fixated on the idea that if God is healing us, hands will be laid upon us. The Bible says that when the enemy comes like a flood, the spirit of God will raise a standard against it (Isaiah 59:19). This means that the Spirit of God will make such a thing disappear. The Spirit of the Lord is the spirit of knowledge, understanding, light and more.

It is this  same fixation we have that we use in our ideas of prosperity. We are stuck in one way of prosperity which is going to school and afterwards, receiving a job in your field of study. Today, I am here to reveal to you that the grace of God will provide many other ways for this prosperity to come. When we say the grace of God, you must understand that it is good will and undeserved kindness from God. “But by the grace of God I am what I am:” (1 Corinthians 15:10). If you are going to become something, there is something that has the power to make you into what you would otherwise not have become. This is the grace of God.

The grace of God makes you lovely, wonderful, joyful and more. When people graduate from their schools, they are called to come back as alumni to support the school. Why? Simply because it is believed that they are what they are because of the school. However, Apostle Paul says that he is what he is because of the grace of God upon his life and not the school he attended. Apart from your school making you a great person, the grace of God will also make you a great person! I see that becoming your testimony this year. As I move by the grace of God each week preaching and teaching, how can I say that I am who I am today because of the school I attended? Even though I completed my education, there is another route that has made me who I am. I can confidently testify that I am who I am today by the grace of God! You can become something and you yourself will recognize that it cannot be explained by your association to your parents, school, friends of more. and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me” (1 Corinthians 15:10). People who work hard need to remember this, that it is also by the grace of God that they have the ability to work hard!

Grace is a divine influence on your heart, a benefit, a favor, a liberality, something that is able to bring delight, joy and more. God is able to make all these come unto you. Grace is the cause of sufficiency. “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:” (2 Corinthians 9:8). Receive the grace of God to have sufficiency in all aspects of your life today!

Today’s post is based on a message I preached on March 6 2016. Click on the “PLAY” button above to listen to the “Spirit of Revelation”.

Today, I am going to be sharing with you all about one of the branches of wisdom. I believe that God himself will have a great blessing for you through this message.

“And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” – 1 Corinthians 2:1-2

Knowing Jesus is enough wisdom. The Bible says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. When you see people who are focused on Jesus, they often find others coming to them telling them that they are dealing with basics and need to do something more. However, Apostle Paul says that he determined not to know anything among the people except Jesus Christ. Brethren, let us believe and accept the word of God and what Apostle Paul says, which is, knowing Jesus and all about Jesus is enough and more than enough. Sometimes as pastors, when God uses us to build things, at a point, we begin to think that we have the ability to be leaders or builders. It is the wisdom of God that gives us the ability to do such things. We are neither builders nor politicians.

The wisdom of God is completely superior to any form of human thinking. The wisdom of God makes you do certain things that neither politics, education or wealth will get you to do. These are plans that God himself is executing with or without you. There are many types of wisdom in the world including the wisdom of men! And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:” (1 Corinthians 2:4-7). There is a wisdom that is superior to the wisdom of men or the wisdom of princes: the wisdom of God. God has a special kind of wisdom that is in line with His word; the word of God often contradicts the wisdom of man.  The wisdom of God cannot be learnt in a classroom. It is wisdom in a mysterious and hidden package. The spirit of revelation is the spirit that unravels the hidden wisdom of God. It gives you insight to packages of secrets which God has. These secrets contain the real blessings of God. You are beginning to increase in wisdom!

The supernatural wisdom of God will give you long life and riches. Proverbs 1 gives us the secret to becoming wise! A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:” (Proverbs 1:5). Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17). Hearing the word of God makes you wise and wise people hear! Simply put, a man of wisdom is a hearer. When I started the ministry, I recognized that my hearing of the words of Kenneth Hagin propelled me into another level of the anointing. I am who I am simply because I heard the word of God from great men of God like Kenneth Hagin and Benny Hinn. No school will ever tell you that a wise man is a hearer. Only the word of God will do so. A wise man is an avid hearer. Listen to the word of God on the podcasts. Don’t be too big to listen to this wisdom. Begin to increase your level of listening to messages and soaking in the word of God. Become an avid hearer of the Lord! Receive this wisdom that is for your glory!

A wise man will also continue to learn and receive counsel “…and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels”. It is very sad to see people who have stopped learning. They are satisfied with the little they know. There is a lot to learn in this world. Do not be satisfied with the little you know. Continue to learn! There are also some people who cannot receive wise counsels. Advice is such a fantastic thing to have in your life. Pray to be advisable. Never grow out of the ability to receive advice. It is a sad thing to think you know it all. When you are unable to attain advice, people will no longer want to open their mouths to speak to you. Do not dismiss wise counsels.

To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings” (Proverbs 1:6). The sayings of a wise man appear dark and mysterious. If you are told that the secret to prosperity is diligence it is very easy to understand. However, when you hear that the secret to prosperity is to seek the kingdom of God first and his righteousness, it appears very mysterious and abnormal! How can one become rich by following God! This contradicts the wisdom of man but believe me, this is the greatest wisdom you can ever receive! This is indeed the dark sayings of a wise man! Only those with wisdom will understand it. Another secret to prosperity I will share with you is to owe no man. This is because the borrower is a servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7) That is why we struggle so much with people in debt because their master is always calling them. What really determines your prosperity is a blessing. The Bible tells us to labor not to be rich. Why? Because it is the blessing of the Lord that makes a person rich and adds no sorrow (Proverbs 10:22). Receive these darks sayings because this wisdom is for your glory. You are becoming a wise person because you hear, listen to counsel and understand the dark sayings of the word of God.

For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.” – Mark 4:25

Among the he that has not, we can find three groups that exist. First the poverty group, second is the intractable poverty group. In this group, poverty is very stubborn and does not easily go away and is not easy to treat. The third and final group is the the group of inequality, people who do not have what they need to have just like what their counterparts have. What are the causes of such groups. Research has shown us that personal traits lead individuals into the states that they fall in. In the group of intractable poverty, research has shown that a lack of knowledge, lack of skill and laziness lead people into this group.

When you are in the church, such traits will be worked on by the word of God. God will change you and move you out of intractable poverty. When God chooses you, the main thing is that you are blessed. To be chosen is to be blessed. Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple – Psalm 65:4. One way to move from the lowest groups of he that hath not into a he that hath not is to appreciate the people in your life. Another way to becoming a he that hath is to recognize the friends of your father. Solomon recognized his father’s friend Hiram. Through his maintenance of a good relationship with Hiram, Solomon received resources he may not have otherwise had (1 Kings 5:1). When someone is interested in you because of your father, you will never lack. Only fools, ruin the relationships established  by their fathers. Learn to preserve relationships God has placed in your life!

The principle of “He That Hath” is one that seems unfair. When you look in the world, you see this principal ruling in every way. Those who have seem to be getting more added and those who do not have appear to be losing even the little they have. Jesus said in Mark 4:24-25 “And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.”

It is only by wisdom that you will be able to become a he that hath. When you fight and reject wisdom, you are rejecting your own life and accepting poverty!  Discovering a curse is like discovering a cobra lying next to you when you wake up. You have to thread carefully! Any wrong move can turn your life for the worst. I see you overcoming this principle and becoming a he that hath. There are many little things that a he that hath does.

He that has, recognizes different people that come into their life. They also recognize that people are important in their lives and have been sent by God to play a role in their life. A he that hath not despises the people that come in their life. So, whatever blessing that would have come through such a person is lost. “And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched. But the children of Belial said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought no presents. But he held his peace.” (1 Samuel 10:26-27). Realize that he that has does not become a he that has only by one way. One of the ways is to be associated with someone upon whom there is a blessing. Closeness to a person, may be far more profitable to you than a university degree. This is not to say that education is not important. It is very important but remember that it is not only through education that you will become a he that hath. Laban, Jacob’s father in law, recognized that his association with Jacob was what caused him to be blessed! Sometimes, you are only blessed because you are near someone who is blessed. You must respect and recognize this fact. I see you becoming a he that hath because you have recognized the blessed people that have come into your life.

There are two groups that exist in the world and you will be in the better group! Somebody say AMEN and believe it!

“And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.” – Mark 4:24-25

This verse describes the two groups: he that hath and he that hath not. You will be someone that has. That is what every country is made up of : he that has and he that has not. What I am sharing with you is to help you become a member of the group that has. If you are in that group, everything that can be had you will have. You must decide by the power of God to become a person that hath. Every country, church, job and school is made up of these two groups.

One of the most difficult things in the world is to prosper. Those who are out of school can testify that the world is not as you thought it was or would be. I believe that the real secret to flourishing and prospering and joining the first group of he that hath is from God. The Bible says labor not to be rich (Proverbs 23:4). In other ways, do not even try to be rich because it will not be of your natural strength. The Bible gives a mysterious key to riches in Proverbs 10:22. It tells us that the blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich. So it is not your labor in the world or your education that will bring you riches but the Lord. The Lord blessed Abraham, Jacob and David and they obtained riches. These people sought the kingdom of God and prospered. Seeking first the kingdom of God will bring you riches you never imagined. This is the master key to prosperity. This will always be the key no matter the work or program you are in at school. When you are in school you can seek God first! When you are a pastor you can seek God first. In every area you can seek God first. Purpose in your heart that this year, you will seek God’s kingdom above all else. I see you becoming a he that hath this year because you have sought after the Lord.

“Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.” – Luke 11:52

Working with God and walking with God, is very connected to what you know. I find that many ministers live on islands of knowledge. They are limited to what they know of their island. When you are on an island, you are surrounded by an ocean and have rear contact with others. There is a natural isolation that happens on islands. Many pastors praise themselves on the little they know about their island. When they encounter one another, they get satisfied with what they know and feel accomplished. They compare themselves to themselves and praise their little knowledge. The Bible however tells us that such people are unwise; “For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.” (2 Corinthians 10:12)

There are many great things taking place and several wonderful islands of knowledge that exist. Many countries and even denominations tend to fall into the island mentality. There are two kinds of people that exist in this world: those who live on an island and ask “is there anything beyond?” and those who are content on their island and unwilling to ask and explore other places. When it comes to the work of God we have the same thing, people who wait to be discovered and do not ask if there is anything better out in the world apart from the little that they know. This is what is called the key of knowledge because knowledge opens you up to so many things that you never knew existed. Knowledge opens you up to many dimensions of God and ministry and it is important that we start coming off our islands and discover the other keys of knowledge that exist.

Do not forsake the key of knowledge. I see you moving into higher dimensions in God this season.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” – Matthew 28:18-20

We have began a new season of  winning 100 million souls for Jesus Christ. In this new year, the Healing Jesus Campaign journey kicks of in Lesotho and South Africa. By the grace of God, we have had four successful campaigns thus far and have witnessed God’s miracle working power. The blind have seen, the lame have began to walk and those who could not participate in daily activities due to an illness or handicap have been healed. He is a healing Jesus indeed!!!

The campaign continues throughout South Africa until the 6th of February. You can tune in to watch live coverage of the campaigns at www.healingjesus.tv. The team and I ask that you join us in prayer as we move daily from one city to another winning the lost at any cost. Indeed South Africa and Lesotho shall be saved.

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

I had the great privilege of sharing this Sunday, in my good friend Bishop Mosa’s church, Grace Bible Church. It has been a great journey we have been on for the past thirty years and I am truly blessed and grateful to have such a friend.

“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” – Matthew 10:16

This is an instruction from Jesus telling us to be harmless as doves and wise as serpents. Why did Jesus not say be wise as lions or tigers? Serpents are one of the most successful animals in the world. They have been able to survive from generation to generation and flourish. Yet, there is no animal that is hated more than a snake. In spite of this hatred, snakes have flourished! You will flourish because you are receiving the wisdom of a serpent. Human beings tend to have proper respect for snakes. This is because we know how dangerous they are! When you are wise as a serpent, people will have the proper respect for you.

There are several attributes that make snakes prosperous. The first one is that, snakes  are masters of radical change! Snakes have the ability to shed their skin and present a new one. When they shed their skins, they have the ability to become shinier, faster, eat more and better. Many Christians lack the ability to adapt to change. When God asks us to let go of our old ways, we fight Him. It is because of this that we never move and go. Learn to adapt like a snake. I see you becoming shinier and more radical for God. Learn to shed your old skin and take on a new one.

Taking on the wisdom of a serpent does not include taking on the character of one! Snakes cannot be led. How many have seen a crowd of anacondas being led? However, sheep can be led to the correct path. When you are led, you shall lack nothing (Psalm 23:1). Learn to receive the wisdom of a serpent and the character of a lamb.

I have been sharing on the wisdom of sheep for a while and would like to continue on this subject matter.

All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” – John 10:8-11

Being Christians, we need to understand God’s word and His way of victory for us. When you start watching animals, it looks as though lions are the most powerful creatures. Rather, it is the weaker looking animals that multiply fast and are also the most powerful.  In reality, something God has given these antelopes is giving them success and increasing their families. Just like the antelope, a sheep is also strong because what appears as its weakness is actually its strength.

When you are a sheep, you must specialize in being a sheep. Psalm 23 helps us recognize someone who has specialized in being a sheep. The immediate effect of being a good sheep is prosperity. Prosperity does not come from the things that you think make an individual prosperous. Rather, it is by following God that you will prosper correctly. One of the things that disqualifies you from being a good sheep is being stiff-necked. “He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters” Psalm 23:2. Some of you cannot be made to do anything. Your shepherd must be able to make you do certain things. Some of you cannot be made to cook, clean or guide the house. This is not an ancient mind set but a biblical one in Titus 2. How will you know how to guide the house if you have never learnt it? Being led is very important. If you cannot be led, you will never see still waters. You will only see raging, tumultuous waters. Listen to the rest of this message at the latest messages section of www.daghewardmills.org. I see you loving God more this year and becoming a wise sheep.
