Dr. Heward-Mills has over the years become a widely acknowledged Bible teacher and a much sought after conference speaker. His writing career began in 1998 when he wrote his first set of 10 books. He has not stopped writing ever since.

Dag Heward-Mills has an anointing to teach. He describes an unusual experience he had which confirmed to him that God had indeed given him this anointing. In his book "Catch the Anointing," he emphasizes the impartation that can be received from tapes.

He explains that after listening to a particular tape by Kenneth Hagin, a man he admires, he had received a spiritual impartation: "At about 3 a.m., I was kneeling by the bed praying. I could see the tape recorder situated at the other end of the room. Then suddenly, something literally jumped out of the tape, which was playing and moved into my belly. I could feel it entering me. Then I heard a voice saying, "From now you can teach". I did not know what that was but I thought to myself, 'That is good, because I want to teach.' I did not know at that time that I had received a major impartation of anointing through the channel of soaking in tapes"

This anointing has resulted in the writing of many books and the production of audio and video teaching tapes that are in demand all over the world. His topics cover all aspects of life from “fornication" to "the anointing."

His rich teaching coupled with a pragmatic and down-to-earth approach to the Word of God, has endeared him to many. Several of Dag Heward-Mills’ books are used as training manuals in Bible schools and Pastors’ training programmes all over the world.
